1. Pre-shipment Overall Cleaning & Anti-rust Treatment

1. Thoroughly wash the whole vehicle to remove mud, dust and residual salt, then fully dry all metal surfaces.
2. Spray industrial anti-rust wax on exposed metal parts including crane hydraulic cylinders, axles, bolts and welding seams to resist sea salt fog corrosion during long ocean transit.
3. Seal all hydraulic pipe joints and electrical wiring ports with waterproof tape; tidy and bind scattered wires tightly to avoid breakage from shaking.
4. Adjust fuel, engine oil and coolant to standard safe levels as per maritime transport rules.

2. Independent Protection for Fragile Components

1. Cab: Cover windshield, rearview mirrors and headlights with thick bubble film + hard plastic guard plates to prevent scratch and impact damage. Lock all cab doors tightly, wrap door gaps with waterproof film.
2. Knuckle boom crane: Fully fold and lock the boom with dedicated fixing brackets; secure hydraulic cylinders to prevent sliding due to pressure loss at sea. Wrap crane control valves, hooks and hydraulic pipelines with multi-layer protective film.
3. Dump cargo box: Cover box edges and corners with anti-collision wood strips to avoid bumping against other vehicles on the ship deck.

3. Reinforcement & Fixing for Ocean Ro-Ro Vessel

1. Transport mode: Mainly shipped by Ro-Ro roll-on/roll-off vessel; the truck can drive directly onto the ship ramp, reducing lifting damage compared with bulk cargo transport.

2. Vehicle fixing steps:

• Engage parking brake and shift gear to low speed lock position.
• Wedge front & rear tires with solid hardwood blocks to stop sliding forward/backward and sideways.
• Fasten heavy-duty steel lashing chains on vehicle reserved lashing eyes, connect to ship deck anchor points for all-direction fixing to resist storm swaying.
• Lock crane outriggers and folding boom completely with steel fasteners to eliminate swing space.

4. Export Document Packaging

1. Sort all complete clearance documents into a sealed waterproof file bag: chassis certificate, crane factory test report, commodity inspection certificate, bilingual operation & maintenance manual, commercial invoice and packing list.
2. Attach one copy of document bag inside the cab; deliver another electronic copy to the customer for customs clearance at destination port.
